Who are Indices?

Indices is the publishing arm of the BHF Group and produces a whole host of trade publications and price guides. Within the Group, the company stands as both a profit centre and a service provider.

Indices was established in 1963 and is under the directorship of Michael Weedon, publishing and IT Director. The company moved to new offices in December 2003 and is now based in Harefield, Hillingdon, overlooking the Grand Union Canal.

What do we do?

Indices publishes a range of industry publications from magazines to personalised catalogues. Our four trade magazines: Hardware Today, Home Decor & Furnishings, Cookshop, Housewares & Tabletop and The BAGMA Bulletin are aimed at independent businesses in the respective fields (both BHF Group members and non-members) whilst our personalised catalogues and price guides are designed to assist retailers in the running of their businesses.

For companies wanting a catalogue produced, Indices is able to offer a complete publishing package, from photography and design through to delivery. Not only that, the company can provide a website hosting and design service, bhfinternet - so if you need a website built, then give us a call!

BHF Group membership

Joining the Federation as an Associate member gives a supplier direct access to the services of the organisation and a fast track contact with the membership who represent the cream of the independent trade. Independent retailers of hardware, ironmongery, cookware, pet products or agricultural or garden machinery dealers can also benefit from becoming a BHF Group member.
